Dessert for Your Easter Menu

This creamy grape dessert from Skinny Taste--one of our favorite healthy food bloggers--is delicious and healthy. Made with Greek yogurt, it also packs in some protein! Eat the leftovers as your sweet treat during the week (instead of the leftover Easter candy).

 

Greek Yogurt Dessert

CREAMY GRAPE SALAD DESSERT (adapted from skinnytaste.com)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb green seedless grapes, washed and dried well

  • 1 lb red seedless grapes, washed and dried well

  • 8 oz fat-free plain Greek yogurt (or use sugar-free vanilla yogurt and skip the agave or sugar, below)

  • 4 oz light cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup agave, sugar, or stevia

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping:

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions:

  1. Cut grapes in half and set aside.

  2. Mix yogurt, cream cheese, agave and vanilla until blended well.

  3. Stir grapes into mixture and pour in large serving dish.

  4. Combine brown sugar and crushed walnuts. Sprinkle over top of grapes to cover completely.

  5. Chill until ready to serve
